Synesthesia
A winning interactive light installation for a dark San Francisco street.
An installation designed to increase foot traffic and lighting between San Francisco's Little Saigon and Civic Center neighborhoods. Developed in partnership with the Tenderloin Community Benefits District, Synesthesia was selected as the winning project (beating out much larger firms such as ARUP and an Oakland-based architect). The light installations are responsive to sound/wind and are only apparent as shapes from certain locations.
