The branding for this shop had to communicate a pop-art feeling to a wide audience interested in critique and fame. I designed 50 shirts from 10 categories of fame. They were all initially presented at an art exhibit at the Stanford d.school.
The ten categories are: Artists, Designers, Presidents, People who are famous (but their face isn't), Wes Anderson characters, TV stars, Villians, Religious figures, Child stars, and me.
Each design is made using a hand cut stencil and spray paints. The paint is ironed into the fabric, permanently setting the design.
